The Immigrant Opens Off-Broadway
The Immigrant, based on the play of the same name, is the musical story of a young Jewish immigrant who fled the pogroms of Czarist Russia in 1909 and pushed his banana cart into the tiny Baptist community of Hamilton, Texas. Talk about your fish out of water stories! The cast, company and well-wishers gathered in the lobby of the posh new Dodger Stages to celebrate the off-Broadway opening of this new musical.
